$14,251,532,762,159 and counting. That's our national debt – 14 TRILLION DOLLARS. According to usdebtclock.org, that's $127,325 for every taxpayer in the U.S. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I'm truly scared about the financial situation that my country is facing. Our debt is astronomical, we struggle to make our interest payments, and operate on a deficit every year. Last year alone, the deficit was 1.29 trillion dollars. That's insane!

The recession has been a tough time for all of us, including our government. Tax revenues are falling and our government has less to work with. Hard as it may be, it is time to make cuts, especially to programs that are least essential. What are we going to do if China wants to cash in on the 25% of our debt they own?

By funding this campaign, we will proclaim to the people of Washington D.C.that spending money we don’t have is unacceptable. If this campaign is funded we will be able to put up king poster bus advertisements across D.C. for everyone to see: politicians, lobbyists, etc. Join me in sending this important message to our elected leaders: STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY!
