Miranda Wilkerson is a 4-year-old little girl whose mother died in an accident soon after Miranda's birth. She has been in the care of her grandmother Rita Manning. Recently Judge Phyllis M. Rosier of the 8th Circuit Court awarded custody of Miranda to her step-father, who is a Registered Sex Offender. This child's best interest should be the primary focus! Florida's Child Protective Service should closely investigate this case and make recommendation to the court for placement of Miranda in the safest environment for her.
